You can export processes in a number of formats, some of which can be re-imported to Promapp, which makes sharing or reproducing a process easier.
To export a process, select the cog wheel in the top right-hand corner and choose [Export]. Depending on how your site is configured, you will have several options for formats to export to.
- Export to Text opens a dialogue boss and converts your process content into a text-only format.
- Export to XPS downloads your process as an XPS file.
- Export to XML downloads the XML file of your process. XML us Promapp’s own format, and doesn’t conform to any other XML standard.
- Exporting to BPMN/XPDL downloads the process in XPDL format. XPDL is the XML Process Definition Language, and can only be used if your process is published with either the Process Approval Workflow or Publish Only mode on.
