Review notifications are colour coded to show their status:
- [Green] Not yet due
- [Orange] Due within 10% of the review period
- [Red] Due immediately or overdue.
The default Review frequency is set in the Dashboard section of the Configuration menu [Admin>Configure>Dashboard]. You can also set custom review periods when creating or editing processes or documents.
The next Review due date is calculated from the last reviewed date, using the set period (either default or custom, if there is one). For instance, if a process was due for review every 6 months, even if it was already 2 months overdue, reviewing it today would set the next review for 6 months from now.

Reviewing Processes and Documents
Reviewing processes or documents indicates that you’re aware of the content and are happy that it’s current. It’s a two-step activity involving checking the relevant content and marking it as reviewed.
View or Edit Buttons
Processes due for review can be viewed to ensure they are up to date. The [View] button will take you to the process to look it over and make any necessary changes.
Create and Edit a Process
Documents that need reviewing can’t usually be viewed directly in Promapp. The [Edit] button opens the Document window showing the current document filename or location and any notes. An updated version can be uploaded or linked here to replace out-of-date documentation.

Reviewed It Button
When you click [Reviewed It] you need to leave a comment on the outcomes of your review – either the changes made or why there were no changes required. Once submitted, this will clear the notification from your My Reviews dashboard until re review period rolls around again.
Reviews
If the [Reviewed It] button is not there, it is likely that the Enable Explicit Process Reviews setting is disabled. This can be changed in the configuration menu [Admin>Configure>Process Editing>Enable Explicit Process Reviews]. While this is set to off, you will need to view the process make any changes required, or if it is still current, save it with no change and a comment to that effect (such as, “Process reviewed and no changes necessary”) This will clear the notification in your Reviews dashboard.

Promaster Reviews
Promasters are given the opportunity to review all documents and processes, but this can be a lot of information to take in. If preferred, you can opt for Promasters to only review those processes and documents where they are an Owner or Expert. This can be set in the configuration menu [Admin>Configure>Dashboard>Enable Promaster notifications for all reviews].
