When document approval is switched on, Promasters can assign document approvers by right-clicking on the process group and selecting [Edit stakeholders]. Promasters are default document approvers when none are specified.

You can choose whether all document approvers are required to sign off on any new or edited document, or just one. Select [First only required to approve] to enable any one nominated approver to clear a document for publication.

Document approvers are distinct from process approvers under the Process Approval Workflow, and approving or publishing a process doesn’t affect document approval.
