Documents due for approval will appear on the dashboard for any nominated approvers. Click [Approve] to accept the document, or [Edit] to view the details, including the associated groups and processes, any change history and the list of owners and approvers.
If you select [Decline] the document will remain in the ‘awaiting approval’ state until it is edited, archived or approved (usually with changes). The comment you leave when declining approval is logged in the document change history for reference, and will appear with a notification on the document owner’s dashboard.
Where required, Promapp can be configured to ask you to re-enter your username and password to approve a document, in order to adhere to appropriate regulations. This can be set in the security menu [Admin>Configure>Security>Enable credential check when approving changes].
