Promapp uses system tags to identify key systems and tools your organisation uses. These tags help clarify your processes where they appear.
The system page records the details your users need to know to help identify the systems, and associates them with any common acronyms or names your team uses for them. When a user sees a system tag, hovering their mouse over it shows the information Promapp holds on that system.
System tagging is enabled in the configuration menu through [Admin>Configure>Editing>Enable System Tagging]. Promasters and Business Analysts can edit your system tags, as well as any nominated system owners. You can also allow Process Editors to add or edit tags through [Admin>Configure>Editing>Allow Process Editors to edit systems].
You can add a new system tag with the [Add System] button, or edit existing ones with the pencil icon beside them. Tags are updated in your processes overnight or can be manually reindexed from the cog icon.
Viewing the System Tags
Sort the list with the column headers, or filter it by letter from the top left. Hovering your mouse over the documents the tag is associated with will show a list of the applicable documents.
The System Map button shows you where the tag occurs and in which processes.
Click [Show More] at the bottom of the list to load the next 20 results for the view you are in.
